I’m officially back on schedule so look forward to me being thrown right-off schedule again very soon. It’s the way it goes. I’m mildly exhausted but this challenge has been so great and I can’t complain. (It’s self-inflicted).

Is a one month challenge to write and share a new song everyday during November. My friend Lily DeTaeye came up with idea and this is her fourth year doing it. So please make sure you follow Lily as well. It seemed like a great exercise and I’m so excited to share it.

There is a wheel, a wheel of time
More like a loop that shapes our lives
I’d like to examine mine
And play back the tape of how I behave
And how I have made every mistake
Just like the first time

I’ve been running in circles and chasing my tail
Under a full moon so close I could wail
I’ve been harvesting the dawdles of Spring
While tightening my belt loop strings

I know I should take my time
And avoid the quick dime like Mr. Shell says

Follows you until you learn and pass it on in turn
