Is a one month challenge to write and share a new song everyday during November. My friend Lily DeTaeye came up with idea and this is her fourth year doing it. So please make sure you follow Lily as well. It seemed like a great exercise and I’m so excited to share it.

You stand over me like a victory
While a crowd cheers sycophantically
But we haven’t even addressed the point

So why make ‘em feel bad if they don’t really understand
It’s hard pulling punches when somebody’s got heavy hands
They won the fight
But they doesn’t mean they’re right

You go to your after-party
Soaked back-slaps and Bacardi
And we still haven’t addressed the point

Parry the jab, Fake the hook
Make em take a second look...

So why make 'em feel bad if they don’t really understand
